Case Management

Our four area offices are central to programs that offer essential support and financial aid, within the limits of available resources. The dedicated staff in Leominster, Milford, Southbridge, and Worcester are committed to assisting individuals and families in addressing the underlying factors that have led to insecurities in areas such as food, housing, and socioeconomic stability. Through our case management approach, we strive to help clients stabilize their immediate circumstances, address pressing safety concerns, acquire valuable budgeting skills and resource management techniques, plan for further education or secure stable job placements, and collaboratively work to progress towards self-sufficiency.

Food Pantries and Food Assistance Referrals

At our Worcester, Leominster, and Milford area offices, we offer choice food pantries to all individuals and families. We encourage those who visit our pantries to select those items that are most appropriate for their family’s needs, and we make every effort to provide fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats that assist them to prepare nutritious meals.

Financial Literacy

We offer every individual or family that visits one of our area offices (see above list of food pantries for locations and contact information) the opportunity to take part in both formal and informal financial literacy education. We offer a structured Financial Literacy curriculum in regularly-scheduled sessions and also provide one-to-one coaching around creating and maintaining a sensible household budget.

Clothing Closets

At each of our area offices (see above list of food pantries for locations and contact information), we provide gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories for adults and children. Donations to our clothing closets are welcomed on a rolling basis. Please see list of acceptable items under the donate goods section.

Rental and Utility Assistance

As funds allow, our area offices (see above list of food pantries for locations and contact information) can provide limited financial assistance with rent, mortgage, and utility bills. For those who qualify following a structured application process, our staff will make payments on behalf of the account holder directly to the landlord or utility company.

Our programs are made possible, in part, by United Way funding.
