In order to protect the health of our visitors, employees and the community, Catholic Charities will be closing its administrative office and the Mercy Centre until April 7th. Administrative staff will work remotely during this time.
For clients who receive services (such as food pantry, diaper program, and hygiene products) from our locations in Worcester, Leominster, Milford, and Southbridge, we remain open and are here to continue helping those in need. As we attempt to prevent the spread of the virus, we ask you to be patient with us at this time. As a precaution, you may be asked to wait as we let people in one by one.
Our residential and homecare programs will remain open, but are taking the necessary precautions to keep clients and staff healthy.
We hope you all remain healthy and will continue to keep you notified of any changes.
Inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Church and the pastoral leadership of the Bishop of Worcester, Catholic Charities Worcester County is committed to meeting the needs of the poor, the homeless and the infirm and to enhancing the quality of life for all.
We promote the gift and sacredness of life from the first moment of conception through all stages of human growth and development. We are committed to strengthening families and to serving individuals in need, regardless of racial, ethnic, cultural or religious origins, ability to pay, or mental, physical or developmental challenges.
We believe that every person has the right to life, housing, food, shelter, clothing, and health care, and that all should be enabled to participate in the decisions that vitally affect them.
