Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Catholic Charities. Currently, we need volunteers in Leominster and Worcester. Please see below for a list of our current opportunities. All individuals must complete the volunteer application.


Volunteer Opportunities

 Food bank runs at the Worcester County Food Bank
 Assist in the pantry with organizing food and working with clients
 Assist in the clothing closet (sort donations, help clients find items)
 Organize a drive (school supplies, hygiene products, linens and towels, baby items, Christmas gifts, and more)
 Assist men at Crozier House (drug and alcohol recovery program) with resume writing, financial literacy, and professional skills
 Provide mentorship and homework help to children at Youville House Family Shelter
 Work with individuals with developmental disabilities at Mercy Centre
 Assist with painting and weeding at Mercy Centre
 Assist individuals ages 55+ with job development skills
 Assist individuals in need of financial literacy (Catholic Charities has a curriculum)
 Individuals who speak Nepalese, Kinyarwanda and Arabic are needed for the Refugee Resettlement Program
 Drive refugees to appointments
 Adopt a refugee family
 Assist with light housekeeping at the area offices (Southbridge, Leominster, Whitinsville)
